Published purpose
This project aims to increase the effectiveness of Iraqi authorities in recovering and safeguarding vulnerable human remains from mass graves in areas of Iraq that have been liberated from Da’esh. It also aims to increase participation among family members, especially women and girls, in the process of locating and identifying their missing relatives.
