Published purpose

The Programme international de formation en évaluation du développement (PIFED) will provide training to strengthen the evaluation of public programs in French-speaking developing countries. The long-term objective of this project is to foster more inclusive governance in public administrations, in order for programs to better respond to the needs of women and girls. To reach this objective, the project will strengthen the capacity of female evaluators and gender equality specialists, provide them scholarships, promote the use of human rights and gender sensitive evaluations, and implement activities to encourage public administrations to be more inclusive, including by having more women evaluators. Training will be provided in Quebec, in francophone developing countries, as well as through an online platform. PIFED will be implemented by the École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP), which is located in Quebec City.
