Published purpose
The project aims to increase the wellbeing and security of women, men, boys and girls by clearing explosive hazards in liberated areas of Iraq, as well as to increase the participation of women in mine action clearance. Project activities include: (1) conducting explosive hazards clearance operations in the Anbar Province of Iraq in order to release land for women, men, boys, and girls; and (2) actively promoting gender equality in mine action in Iraq in order to increase the participation of women.
