Published purpose
The project supports one of the three Canadian-based Indigenous Permanent Participants of the Arctic Council, Inuit Circumpolar Council Canada, in its engagement in the Arctic Council, through participation and consultation within Arctic Council working groups and related activities that work to protect and enhance the lives of Inuit people across the Arctic. Project activities include: (1) participation in the Sustainable Development Working Group, the Marine Mechanism and the International Symposium on Plastics in the Arctic.
