This project aims to improve the food security, livelihoods and economic well-being of women and men small holder farmers in Ethiopia. This project works to empower women and girls, and creates economic opportunities for women smallholder farmers, addressing land tenure issues including those that disadvantage women, and by building the resilience of communities against the effects of climate change. This project works to improve livelihoods and economic empowerment for women and men smallholder farmers through sustainable land management practices, climate change adaptation and climate-smart income-generating activities. It supports the Government of Ethiopia’s national Sustainable Land Management Program, a flagship program designed to reduce land degradation and improve agricultural productivity of smallholder farmers.
