Published purpose
The project aims to address the unequal participation of women in family and community decision-making, the low representation of women in decision-making bodies, the gender inequalities perpetuated by customary and cultural practices, the poor leadership of rural women who are unaware of their role and responsibility in the management of local affairs, and the disparities between girls and boys in terms of access to and retention in school.
