Published purpose

The project aims to strengthen social cohesion in Tajikistan through provision of more effective, better coordinated support by actors engaged in supporting implementation and monitoring of the new PVE Strategy II, in line with the principles of ‘do no harm’, human rights, gender equality and conflict sensitivity. The activities will do this through supporting amendments/ recommendations to the key law, policies and programmes in the C/PVE domain and development of a detailed M&E system which will strengthen monitoring of implementation of the Strategy both at the national and local levels. In line with the recommendations of CTED, the project will also create/strengthen platforms and mechanisms of cooperation and exchange of information on PVE in collaboration with communities and CSOs.
