This project aims to support the operationalization of the axes of the Forest Strategy 2030 to prevent overexploitation and lack of valuation of the forest sector in Morocco. The project’s contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Forest Strategy will take the form of technical support, expertise and support on the ground, in order to help achieve the expected results. The activities of this project include: 1) differentiating and developing national parks and productive forests to maximise their efficiency in terms of valorisation, environmental preservation and conservation; 2) reinvent and restructure the participatory approach around local issues and based on incentives aimed at making the population the primary forest partner; 3) reform the institutions around agencies based on a legal framework adapted to the success of the implementation of dynamic management of spaces, open to partnerships and oriented towards performance.
