Published purpose

This technical assistance facility will help to improve the environment and well-being of vulnerable populations, especially women, in Africa, Asia and Latin America . It seeks to support small-scale financial institutions such as banks, microcredit, and micro-insurance companies that are supported by the Aequitas Impact Investment Fund (P01202001). Technical assistance will help small-scale financial institutions and their clients to improve the availability of financial products (such as microcredit and micro-insurance) and services to underserved populations, including women, small and medium enterprises, youth, and smallholder farmers. Project activities include: 1) Appui fourni aux institutions financière sur la réduction de l’empreinte écologique de leurs opérations; 2) Formation en éducation financière fourni aux micro, petites et moyennes enterprises, notamment celles dirigées par les femmes; and, 3) Appui fourni aux institutions financière pour la distribution de l’offre sexospécifique de produits et services financiers intelligents face aux changements climatiques auprès des micro, petites et moyennes entreprises, notamment les femmes entrepreneures*
