Published purpose

This project supports the safety and continued operations of civil society and independent media actors regarding Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the region around Ukraine. This includes providing civil society and independent media actors sub-grants and technical support. . Project activities include: (1) relocating staff and operations within Ukraine or to neighbouring countries as needed; (2) establishing civic hubs within Ukraine and neighbouring countries to enable coordination and provision of mutual support; (3) providing institutional support to continue critical civil society and media activities, including countering disinformation; and (4) supporting increased physical and cyber security for civil society and media actors.
