Published purpose
On behalf of the G7-led Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction, this project supports a concerted and coordinated approach to counter the entire spectrum of global disinformation campaigns that target chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons and related materials. Project activities include: (1) creating a dashboard that tracks CBRN disinformation related to Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine; (2) providing rapid dashboard and disinformation trends analysis; (3) developing case studies related to various aspects of CBRN disinformation; (4) mapping and characterizing disinformation narratives and tactics related to Ukraine and beyond; (5) developing best practice guidance and measures related to countering CBRN disinformation; (6) consolidating expert opinions on different elements of CBRN disinformation, including needs, impacts, and potential interventions; (7) creating a dedicated project web-platform and project social media account to ho
