Published purpose
This project aims to improve learning outcomes for women and girls in fragile and conflict-afflicted settings. It supports the Safe to learn campaign, a global, inter-agency and multi-country initiative, dedicated to ending violence in and around schools, so children are free to learn, thrive and pursue their dreams. The project focuses on addressing violence as a barrier to girls’ education and providing support for developing materials to enhance the integration of gender equality across the Safe to learn campaign. This project represents the second phase of additional funds provided by GAC to UNICEF for Safe to learn. It aims to implement the initiative in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger and Togo with regional and global activities.
