Published purpose
This project aims to enhance social cohesion in Ukrainian society by promoting gender- and conflict-sensitive assistance. Project activities include: (1) raising awareness of the need for gender- and conflict-sensitive approaches in humanitarian response, recovery and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine; (2) training and accompanying members of civil society and local authorities across Ukraine on gender- and conflict-sensitivity; (3) conducting peace and conflict analysis in targeted sectors and geographic regions to inform policy and strategy development; and (4) organizing analytical peacebuilding platforms (Peace Cafés) to bring together local civil society organizations; volunteers and veterans engaged in civic activities; local, national and regional authorities; and academics to discuss topics relevant to recovery and reconstruction in Ukraine.
