Published purpose
This project aims to strengthen, secure, and diversify global critical mineral supply chains. It supports developing and emerging economies in participating more fully in the critical minerals sector and in capturing greater benefits from the minerals they produce to promote long-term, sustainable economic growth. The Resilient and Inclusive Supply Chain Enhancement (RISE) Partnership aligns with G7 commitments to build more resilient and secure supply chains. This project seeks to strengthen partnerships, promote responsible mining practices, and ensure that critical mineral supply chains are reliable, inclusive, and beneficial to all stakeholders. Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance, capacity building, and skills development programs; (2) encouraging knowledge generation and public-private collaboration; and (3) facilitating financing.
