Published purpose

The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) provides international protection and assistance to the world’s refugees, stateless persons, asylum seekers, and in some instances, internally displaced persons. With the support of GAC and other donors, this project provides assistance and protection to refugees, internally displaced persons or other persons of concern in Burundi and Mozambique. Project activities include, providing lifesaving assistance to refugees and other people of concern, including protection, shelter and core relief items, health care services, water, sanitation and hygiene, cash assistance, livelihoods and socio-economic inclusion, mental health, and psychosocial support.
