Published purpose
The UBC’s Master of Global Health (MGH) program is a program that focuses on global environmental health, global health governance, and global health ethics. This project will establish 14 graduate scholarships and 10 academic fellowships for placements in Indo-Pacific partner institutions, marking the first step toward building an Indo-Pacific consortium of global health aligned with Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy. The scholarships, valued at $12,000 each, will support MGH students in 3–6 month practicum placements, while the fellowships, valued at $25,000 each, will support affiliated academics in 3–6 month collaborative research, teaching, or mentoring engagements. All participants will co-develop project plans with host institutions.?
