Published purpose

This project aims to increase gender equality and women’s leadership in climate mitigation and adaptation in Indonesia by strengthening women’s rights organizations and grassroots groups across 13 climate-vulnerable districts in eight provinces. The project will enhance household resilience, expand women-led green enterprises, and strengthen local value chains. Project activities include: (1) establishing capacity-strengthening and leadership programs for women’s rights organizations, grassroots groups and feminist leaders on gender-inclusive climate action; (2) providing business and technical training to women-led green enterprises to implement climate solutions; (3) engaging with government stakeholders to integrate gender equality and climate justice into policy decision.
