P017301001: February 2026 - Palestine refugees across Syria, Lebanon and Jordan continue to endure the compounded impacts of conflict, displacement and precarious legal status. In 2026, ongoing regional instability and entrenched socioeconomic crises are expected to intensify humanitarian needs. These interconnected challenges underscore the need for a cohesive regional humanitarian and protection response, particularly as fragile stabilisation and early recovery efforts begin to take hold. With GAC’s support, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) contributes to preserving the dignity and resilience of Palestine refugees in Lebanon and Syria amid ongoing economic, social and security crises. Project activities include providing emergency assistance, including food, healthcare, water, shelter and protection services to meet the basic needs of Palestinian refugees. | P017301002: February 2026 – The magnitude and severity of death, destruction and extreme deprivation in the Gaza Strip have generated profound human suffering and humanitarian needs. In the West Bank, demolitions, operations by Israeli forces, settler violence, and movement restrictions continue to trigger displacement and drive a range of humanitarian needs. The erosion of community resilience mechanisms has further intensified needs across all sectors. The United Nations estimates that 3.62 million people require lifesaving assistance across Palestine. With GAC’s support, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) contributes to stabilizing conditions, restoring and scaling up the delivery of essential services, protecting the most vulnerable and providing life-saving humanitarian assistance to those in need. Project activities include providing emergency assistance, including food, healthcare, water and protection services to meet the basic needs of Palestinians.
