Published purpose
This project seeks to enhance the operational capacity of the National Guard of Ukraine in the liberated and adjacent territories, where persistent security threats, including illegal arms trafficking and subversive activities, undermine public safety and territorial integrity. Project activities include: (1) developing standard operating procedures for mobile checkpoints and equipping these checkpoints with essential tools to strengthen the operational effectiveness of the National Guard of Ukraine; (2) developing and conducting trainings for the National Guard of Ukraine to help intercept and prevent illegal movement and possession of small arms and light weapons; (3) conducting training in open source intelligence to improve ability of the National Guard of Ukraine to detect and disrupt subversive activities; and (4) supporting the National Guard of Ukraine in organizing public awareness-raising campaigns.
