Published purpose
This low-barrier, harm reduction-focused initiative improved both individual and community health and safety by providing prescribed alternatives (safer supply) to people who use drugs as an alternative to the toxic, unregulated drug market. This project also connected participants to a multi-sectoral “village” of supportive relationships and opportunities while concurrent upstream efforts addressed systems-level inequities.
