BlueOrchard LAC GDI Fund

Published purpose

The BlueOrchard Latin America and Caribbean Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion Fund aims to increase the financial resilience of women, indigenous populations and people of African descent, as well as to support their material well-being and the growth of their businesses. The technical assistance mechanism supports client financial institutions of the fund in developing new financial inclusion solutions for women and in developing strategies to communicate with and effectively promote women clients. It also supports the development of diversity and inclusion policies within the human resources of the fund’s financial institution clients. Technical assistance supports the development or improvement of monitoring and reporting tools on gender, diversity, and inclusion; and helps financial institutions develop training on gender and inclusion for their employees.
