This contribution is Canada’s institutional support to the Toronto Centre. The Toronto Centre provides leadership courses and technical training for regulatory agencies in the financial sector, with the goal of creating more sound and inclusive financial systems in low-income countries and emerging-market economies. The Toronto Centre was created in 1998 by the Government of Canada, the World Bank and the Shulich School of Business at York University.
