The Fund’s strategic priorities for this replenishment are: i) infrastructure development; ii) governance; iii) regional integration; and iv) support to fragile states. The Fund pays particular attention to private sector development, mainstreaming climate change adaptation and mitigation measures, and promoting food security and agricultural productivity. The African Development Bank helps reduce poverty, improve living conditions, and mobilize resources for the sustainable economic and social development of its 53 African-country members. It promotes cooperation (including regional and sub-regional cooperation) and international trade, particularly among its African-member states.
