Published purpose
This project supports a French version of the International Program for Development Evaluation Training. The Programme international de formation en evaluation du développement (PIFED) is a four-week executive training program in development education for evaluators from developing countries. PIFED provides managers and practitioners with the generic tools they require to evaluate development policies, programs, and projects at local, national, regional, and global levels. This project includes twenty scholarships for participants from francophone developing countries; the creation of an intranet that offers a post-training webinar for participants; and annual performance evaluations of the program. PIFED is managed jointly by ENAP (École nationale d’administration publique) and the World Bank Group’s Independent Evaluation Group.
