Project activities include: (1) supporting coral reef restoration activities and frameworks; (2) building technical capacity to improve the management of marine protected areas; and (3) addressing the issue of marine plastic waste; and, (4) developing financing tools and other strategies to strengthen coastal livelihoods. Direct beneficiaries include 80,000 people in 250 villages, while indirect beneficiaries include millions in coastal areas in the 10 target provinces.
