Published purpose
With CIDA support, PAHO is carrying out key initiatives in disease prevention and treatment. In 2012, PAHO is working with the Haitian Ministry of Health to coordinate the humanitarian health response, implement an epidemiological surveillance and alert system, and manage the main pipeline of medicines and medical supplies for organizations responding to humanitarian needs in Haiti.
