Published purpose
With CIDA support, World Vision is helping to save lives and protect livelihoods in the district of Barkeol, Mauritania, an area heavily affected by the food and nutrition crisis. Activities focus on: providing cash transfers coupled with the provision of seeds and tools; improving access to water; and community-based management of acute malnutrition with support to community volunteers and Health Centre staff to manage acute malnutrition caseloads.
