Published purpose
With CIDA support, in response to the unrest in Syria, the UNHCR is providing multi-sector support for refugees and internally displaced people in Syria and Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries, as well as assistance in registering and documenting refugee populations. Support includes the provision of shelter and household items, basic services and protection. Support to this operation also includes support to some of the one million Iraqi refugees in Syria.
