Published purpose
With CIDA support, CARE is addressing the immediate water and sanitation needs of drought-affected rural families in the Ali Sabieh district of Djibouti. Through the construction or rehabilitation of water points (wells and boreholes) and latrines, CARE is ensuring that up to 20,000 people have access to adequate supplies of safe water, as well as proper sanitation facilities. In addition, 3,500 vulnerable women and girls will receive personal hygiene kits.
