Published purpose
With CIDA support, World Vision is helping to meet the immediate humanitarian needs of internally displaced populations in the Gedo Region of south-western Somalia. Through its support to local health facilities, establishment or rehabilitation of waterpoints and sanitation facilities, and establishment of child friendly spaces, World Vision is ensuring access to proper medical care, safe water and adequate sanitation, and protection for people who have been displaced by the drought and fighting in Somalia.
