Caribbean Development Bank

Published purpose

This contribution represents support by Canada for a risk management study commissioned by the Caribbean Development Bank, to support stronger institutional effectiveness. The Caribbean Development Bank is a multilateral development financial institution based in Barbados. The Bank works towards the systematic reduction of poverty in its borrowing member countries through social and economic development in the Caribbean, including community-driven development and environmental sustainability and regional integration activities. Canada is one of the largest non-borrowing shareholders of the Caribbean Development Bank and one of the largest contributors to its Special Development Fund.
