Published purpose
2 October 2012 - Through this project, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies will support the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Society (SARC) to directly assist 200,000 beneficiaries for 12 months and to strengthen its capacity to respond to the needs of more than 1.5 million people. Priority needs for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' operations in Syria include basic medical supplies and related activities. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is procuring medicines and other medical supplies, and basic and emergency health care will also be supported through this grant.
