Published purpose
March 2013 - With Canada's support, Doctors without Borders is working to reduce morbidity and mortality by providing emergency health and medical care to displaced and violence-affected communities in the Ituri and Bas-Uélé districts of Orientale Province, Democratic Republic of Congo. Working in hospitals, health centres and through mobile clinics, Doctors without Borders is providing emergency medical services, as well as strengthening epidemiological surveillance to improve the response capacity to outbreaks and medical emergencies.
