Published purpose
This project acts as a framework for program-level advisory services and knowledge-building activities in the Ghana Program. It serves to procure appropriate Ghanaian and Canadian expertise to undertake a range of activities including advisory services, policy dialogue, monitoring, knowledge building and sharing, donor collaboration, and compiling lessons learned. The project aims to: i) enhance program design, including the incorporation of improvements in areas such as governance, water and sanitation, environment, equality between women and men, and HIV/AIDS prevention and education; ii) improve Government of Ghana (GoG) planning and management in key areas that GoG identifies as requiring development partner expertise and advice; iii) improve donor alignment and harmonization with respect to programming in Ghana; iv) increase substantive engagement of donors, GoG, and civil society; and v) improve risk management and performance assessment for the program.
