Published purpose
This grant is for the World Food Programme (WFP)’s Nutrition Strengthening Plan to increase the use of nutritionally enhanced foods to meet the specific nutrition needs of vulnerable population groups. With Canada's support, the World Food Programme aims to increase its capacity to research, develop and roll-out specialized food products and target them to meet the specific needs of vulnerable population groups, focusing on young children, pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls, in order to reduce mortality, improve health, nutritional status and long-life productivity.
