Published purpose
This project aims to increase the income of women entrepreneurs in six indigenous women’s federations. It also focuses on improving food security and nutrition in marginalized indigenous populations. Nutritious food products are harvested, processed and sold by the women’s federations to the school breakfast program to improve the nutrition and health of local children. Women entrepreneurs increase their agricultural production and their capacity to process food and to market these. They benefit from training, equipment and materials. The local partner for this project is "Fundacion RENACE". The project takes place in the La Paz department.
