Published purpose

This contribution represents DFATD's ongoing support for GDRPD efforts while it shapes its next Strategic Plan (2016-2020) aligned with the Sustainable development goals. The GDPRD is an informal network of 39 bilateral and multilateral donors who share a common interest to increase the level of investment and effectiveness of agricultural development assistance. The donor platform has significant influence over development policy and programming including, but not limited to, shaping the African agricultural agenda, facilitating dialogue on making agriculture more climate-smart, and fostering knowledge sharing on donor perspectives on the post-2015 agenda.
