Published purpose

The project aims to build and equip a vocational training centre accessible to youth that are experiencing difficulties at school. The centre will provide these underprivileged youth with a series of training sessions to acquire the necessary knowledge to work in a trade such as mechanics, electrical, welding and hospitality, and then integrate the job market. The project also foresees the cultivation of a rice field to ensure the food security for the youth and the financial autonomy of the ''Œuvre humanitaire pour le développement de l'enfant en difficulté'' (OPDE), which is the local partner. This is one of two parts of a project valued at $279,446. The first part has been completed.
