Published purpose
In accordance with CIDA’s Public Engagement Fund mandate to increase awareness of international development among young Canadians, War Child Canada proposes an innovative, cutting-edge project using social media tools as means of public engagement. Considering the increasing number of youth using the Internet and social networking tools, it is timely to use social media to connect youth with global issues.
