Published purpose
The British Columbia Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC) aims to promote public awareness of international issues. Through this program, the BCCIC fosters increased participation by British Columbians (civil society organizations, government, private sector, institutions and citizens) in creating a more just and sustainable world for all. Through its public engagement activities, the BCCIC maintains its leadership role in the province in the areas of raising awareness, enabling change and encouraging action on international development issues.
