Published purpose

This project aims to increase the flow of capital to high-impact agricultural small- and medium-sized enterprises (agri-SMEs).This project complements the financial incentives provide through Aceli’s market incentive facility. It supports lenders and agri-SME. Project activities that include: (1) providing technical assistance to agri-SMES at the pre- and post-investment stage to increase their capacity to access and manage financing; (2) building capacity for lenders to adapt their product offering, enhance their staff expertise, improve and create environmental, social, and governance policies; and (3) conducting data and learning activities to inform adjustments to incentive levels and technical assistance as the market evolves.
