Published purpose
The project assists the Government of Ukraine to develop, pilot and up-scale a model regional development process that utilizes the capacities of a mobilized civil society (men, women and youth) to formulate and implement regional-level development strategies. At the national level, the project supports the Ukrainian government to design and implement regional development policy. At the regional level, it assists regional administrations to design and implement regional development strategies with business and public participation. An extension of the project beginning in 2010 aims to scale up the project’s achievements to the national level.
