Published purpose
The project is a multi-partner initiative of the UNDP aimed at improving local self-governance and supporting community-led development in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The project aims to: 1) assist in the decentralization process by devolving powers and resources from central and state authorities to regional and local authorities; 2) build the capacities of regional, district and municipal level authorities to engage citizens in the planning, budgeting and delivery of high-quality public services; and 3) mobilize communities to identify, prioritize and implement development projects.
