Published purpose

The project aims to streamline and simplify three of Ukraine's most problematic administrative procedures related to the supervision and regulation of business operations: standardization and certification, inspections, and permits. The goal of the project is to improve the business enabling environment in Ukraine by addressing key regulatory barriers for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In order to achieve this, the project is pursuing activities in support of three broad objectives: 1) Simplify selected regulatory procedures for SMEs; 2) Monitor the business environment through representative surveys; and 3) Conduct work in outreach and information, as well as reform-oriented campaigning to ensure adoption and implementation of reforms.
