Published purpose

The objective of this project is to promote sustainable economic growth by making it easier for Palestinian businesses, especially micro, small and medium-sized (MSMEs) firms, to operate effectively. The project is creating a better legal and regulatory environment for businesses by strengthening key laws, regulations and policies of the Palestinian Authority, including streamlining small business registration, licensing and certification. It also promotes enhanced cooperation between public institutions and the private sector. This project is being implemented in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy and two local private sector organizations (the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and the Palestinian Federation of Industries).
