Published purpose

The project aims to support Haiti in its efforts to prevent and combat corruption by strengthening the national capacity to effectively investigate, prosecute and adjudicate corruption cases, while improving coordination with investigators and government commissioners in other jurisdictions. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of national authorities to detect, investigate and prosecute money laundering and underlying offences. The project will enable the acquisition of equipment and software to combat money laundering, and will provide training and mentoring for staff of the Economic Crimes Bureau of the Haitian National Police (HNP) and other national authorities.
