Published purpose

This project with UNOCT, in collaboration with RCMP, aims to enhance the technical skills of law enforcement officials of the beneficiaries Member States in conducting effective counter-terrorism investigations and addressing violent extremism. The next 2 cycles of the Specialized Training on Counter Terrorism Investigations (STOCTI) seek to support an intelligence-led approach and robust investigative program for participating African law enforcement agencies and national academic institutions. The intent of this training is to enable UN African countries not only to fight to the growing terrorist threats within their respective countries, but also create a cohesive standardized response by advancing regional cooperation. This specialized training curriculum will be held in UNOCT Rabat Centre with the participation of up to 36 participants from at least 12 African Countries.
