The purpose of the project is to make an accurate inventory of the Inuit Art Collection following an evaluation of the state of the items selected and the location/community of origin, verify and correct metadata and information (standardized documentation of works), and develop a guide to standardize Inuit designations (towns, names, titles, etc.). The project's activities also include travel for research and interviews (filmed and made available to the public) with artists or members of the Nunavimmiut community, preparation of fact sheets and educational and thematic content, organization of exhibit rooms, and release of related rights and development of content on social networks, the Internet site and the mobile application.
