Published purpose

The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations will produce a detailed inventory and assessment of their Heritage Program’s oral history and traditional knowledge recordings (audio and visual), including transcripts, summaries and research notes related to these recording efforts, to make this collection accessible. The project will involve a professional archivist who will work with a trainee (Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN) citizen, who will receive on-the-job training) to inventory and assess the collection.
