Published purpose
This project seeks to develop a program for male survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST), adapted to address the unique needs of men, including societal pressures, stigma, and barriers to disclosure. This project supports participants and involves clinicians and peer supporters in a retreat-style setting. Program goals include fostering a safe, trauma-informed space for recovery, reducing shame and isolation, and building a model for potential national replication. The program will be delivered in English, as well as in both in-person and virtual formats to ensure accessibility, particularly for those in rural or remote areas.
